Paolo Maldini is the symbol of AC Milan. He’s the club’s own-educated player. Nowadays he’s the captain of the Milan, as well as the National Team. Paolo has a red-black heart. He’s a kind mannered young man, who speaks in English very well, and his friends are also very proud of this ability of him.

"I’ve learnt English in school, my parents, especially my Mum attached great importance that we, children be studied. However, I had already been a professional player by the time I finished the school, but my younger brother and my sisters are also learning languages, and the girls are speaking particularly well in foreign languages.

"When I was born, in 1968, my Dad, Cesare was already 36 years old and he finished his football carrier. He played twelve season in the Milan, he was the captain of the first Champion’s European Cup winner Milan in 1963. So when I was a child he has already been a coach, so he had more time for us. Relatively of course.

I had fantastic memories how my Dad was respected in the club. It helped me a lot in the beginning. I really can thank him a lot. Because he looked after me a lot. Even if I was taught very soon to think for myself, be self-supporting. He treated me as an adult when I was only teenager."

Paolo sometimes works as a deejay for a private radio-station in Milan. He uses to take part on charity events too.
