Marco Simone
Born on the 7th of january 1969 at Castellanza (Varese), he was plunged into the world of soccer very young. He was going with his father to see all the Inter's matchs. When he was 14, he enters in Como training section and when he was 17, he entered professionnal soccer. In 1989, he arrived in the Milan AC and play with the biggest names of european soccer. He scored there 73 goals.
Then he decided to try his luck in french championship. First in wearing Paris Saint Germain's jersey, team where he stayed for two years. After a wonderful first year, the team is shaken up by a moving of managing staff end then, nothing will go well for Marco. However he plays all the season and wear the captain armband.
He leaves the club without any regret to join the prestigious team of Monaco, where he make a splendid duo with David Trezeguet. The season is beginning very well for Marco, with some beautiful goals.
Because of the bad beginning of AS Monaco, Marco decided to come back to his Lombardia and sign in AC Milan for the end of the season 2001-02
Thank you Marco to made us dream. You brang in the french championship the sun of your fabulous country, the class of his inhabitants, the knowledge of his soccer players. Thanks to you, the french soccer had again the colors he'd lost, found again his magnificent gestures. We'll miss you very much and we wish you good luck for your return in your new team you know so well.

Marco has open a videogames store in Varese, near from the city
where he was born, called "SuperMarco World"
Marco just has been elected as best player from october by the 50 journalists members of the Grand Jury "LNF-France Soir". He'll receive his trophy in stadium Louis IIon sunday evening just before the meeting between Monaco and Marseille.
