ZINEDINE   ZIDANE

Born on the 23rd of June 1972 in Marseille, Zinedine Zidane begins IN US Saint Henri-s team with his friends of north of Marseille. It's time of friendship and pleasure. Thanks to Jean Varraud, recruiter of AS Cannes, he joins the team. Step by step, he begins in Division 1 the 20th of may 1989. He's only 16 years old. He keeps on improving on the field and outside,  Luis Fernandez becomes his "brother" and adviser. The 8th of february 1991, he scores his first goal in championship. The following uear is bad for the team. They play some matchs in UEFA Cup but go down in Division 2. He joins Bordeaux for four seasons, where Roland Courbis is waiting for him.

He joins early national teams with his friend Christophe Dugarry. For his first match in A Team, the 17th of april 1994, he scores the two goals of the match. He's now spotted by the greatest european team and joins the Juventus and Didier Deschamps. After a hard beginning, he wins his place on the field and win numerous trophies.

He's however wait for the World Cup. But on 12nd of July 1998, he scores two of the three goals of the french team in the final against Brasil.

For his great victories, he wins the Golden Ball in1998. He's now one of the best players all over the world and thanks to his talent, the Juventus is now leader of the championship, thanks to the incredible goals he scored on free-kicks. Like another Juventus's player some years ago : Michel Platini.
